The celebration of the 1127th anniversary of Zhytomyr foundation was bright, welcoming and absolutely sweet as expected. This spectacular event went off on S.P.Korolyov Square where the long-awaited Ice Cream Feast No. 1 from the best producer in Ukraine “Rud” took place.

The children willingly put on the aqua make-up and tattoos. The youngest guests of the Feast were willingly creating their own works of art dedicated to their hometown and favourite ice cream. Other guests readily participated in every-ticket-wins lottery and drawing of several special souvenirs from the “Rud” shop as a keepsake. The pure joy the children felt at watching the soap bubble show.

The “Rud” Feast was also visited by a newly wed couple to share their joy with Zhytomyr residents and participants of the event. Having seen the happy couple, the host took them to the center stage where they declared their wishes to all the guests of the Ice Cream Feast and Zhytomyr anniversary and got some presents from “Rud”.

Many young Zhytomyr residents became participants of the “Future Zhytomyr” project and made a picture in which they implemented all their hopes and dreams about the future of their hometown.

On the 10th of September, S.P. Korolyov Square turned into a real fairy country with its amazing characters: Pustunchyks, Cone-dolls, Manyasha cow and funny clowns.

Volodymyr Deboi, the head of the city council and Petro Rud, the president of the “Rud” company wished a happy anniversary as well as long life and prosperity to all Zhytomyr residents and were heartily welcomed by the guests of the Feast.

Petro Volodymyrovych had to stay on S.P. Korolyov Square a bit longer since his admirers asked for his autograph.

The celebration is over but Zhytomyr residents will always remember it waiting for the next Ice Cream Feast!
