— Yury Olexandrovich, You were appointed a managerial position of the butter department a year ago. Will You, please, tell us about innovations in Your department for this year? How the lines are working? What was changed? Improved?

— In 2007—2008, the department of non-fat dried milk and butter have reconstructed the butter department — installed the line of spread production. New equipment innovation gave a possibility to increase the product quality as to microbiological indices and taste qualities. Besides all mentioned above, it was carried out the fundamental repair of milk tank-car facility and installed an automated system. The innovation has provided fast and qualified tank-car washing, decreased car stoppage and cut down milk-receiving terms.

— Managing — is always very responsible and rather complicated. What are Your key principles of personnel managing?

— Surely, personnel’s managing is complexity, but mostly — is responsibility. The technological process depends on the accuracy of decision made or task given, besides, the relations with employees in general create an atmosphere in the collective. That is why, I suppose that personnel confidence and decency are the key principles of managing.

— What kind of difficulties arise during the work and how do You solve them?

— Those, who don’t work have no problems; they must be solved quickly, without conflicts, using measures that avoid repetition.

— Before this position, You have worked as a processing engineer for a number of years. Will You tell us about Your career?

— In 2004, I graduated the National Food Technologies University” and started my career at the factory as an associate foreman in the ice cream production department, in a few months I was moved up to the production manager department and was appointed as a production engineer of the non-fat dried milk and butter production department. The work at the position of processing engineer was interesting and new every day, because it means a constant searching and calling everything into question. Now I hold the managerial position of the butter and non-fat dried milk department

— Yury Olexandrovich, how the past experience of production engineer helps You in work today?

— For 3 years of production engineer position, due to our leadership, I took seminars and extension courses for many times. Gonchar Olga Pavlivna, the production manager, made a significant contribution in my practical and theoretical knowledge, and I am very thankful to her.

— What are Your priority directions in butter department work for the nearest season?

— Productive capacity development for butter production and its quality improvement.

— I would like to wish to all workers strong health, family happiness, love and things that are going swimmingly.
