Company “Rud” (PSC “Zhytomyr Dairy Factory”) intends to increase the ice cream’s supply to 20,000 tons/year, taking almost 15 percent of Ukrainian market. It was notified to journalists today by the president of the company, Petro Rud’.

According to the reporter of LIGABusinessInform, Petro Rud’ specified that the supply’s increase from 15,000 tones in 2006 to 20,000 tones would be possible due to the improvement in production distribution system, along with implementation of new technologies. By the results of 2006, the “Rud” company’s share on domestic market of ice cream valued at 12—13 percent.

“Zhytomyr Dairy Factory” specializes in production of ice cream, as well as butter, powdered non-fat milk, etc. Dealers’network of products’sales was created on the territories of Ukraine, Czechia, Yugoslavia, Moldova and Israel. Ice cream is also transported to the USA; while powdered non-fat milk is exported to the Great Britain, Germany, Japan, Israel, Holland, Czechia and other countries.

According to mid-2006’s data, the leaders of Ukrainian market of ice cream were: LLC “Lasunka” (Dnepropetrovsk), “Laska” firm, PSC “Zhytomyr Dairy Factory” (TM “Rud”), LLC “Troyanda”, PSC “Luganskholod” and privately held company “Hercules” (Donetsk).
