— Vadim Mykolayovich, will You, please, tell us how You got to the “Rud” company. Where had started Your career?

— 10 years ago, I started working at “Zhytomir Dairy Factory” as an engineer-programmer. At that time, factory had only few computers and about 10 terminal work places. Only sale and accounting departments were computerized. Today, at our enterprise we have 150 computers, 5 servers and you will hardly find subdivision without computer.

— For many years running, You are heading the software department of the enterprise. Will You tell the key factors in Your work?

— Guarantee of no-break operation of information system. Ultimate satisfaction of users’ needs.

— Vadim Mykolayovich, You cooperate with suppliers, clients... From Your point of view, what is the best client approach method?

— We work with suppliers only, that is why, the key factor in our work with them — is an operating delivery of equipment and materials on the factory, in-time repair performance and highest possible delay of payments :)

— One fact is unquestioning — force majeurs may arise in work. How do You solve problems and conflicts?

— Operatively, in cool blood, ultimately invisibly for users.

— Vadim Mykolayovich, how have You chosen people in collective and what are Your principles of staff recruitment? From Your point of view, what is more effective — “stick” or “carrot”?

— The core qualities for me are professional and humane in staff recruitment, where humane qualities must be at the first place, because you may train the professional, as to decency — a man either has it or not. On my opinion, “carrot” affects better the employee. First, warm word flatters everyone, moreover, if it is supported “financially” — the effect may be rather impressive. “Stick” in my work is used rarely.

— What kind of innovations and changes are You planning to realize in the nearest future?

— Our department takes an active part in implementation of informational system for logistic management of final products’ storehouses, which is aimed to ease the work of storehouse workers and fasten realization of storage operations.

— Vadim Mykolayovich, what are the core principles and priorities in Your life?

— Family, interesting and well-paid job.
