— Valentyna Olexandrivna, will You tell us about You career?
— After graduation from technical school of meat and milk industry in Byla Tserkva, I was assigned to work in Kyshynyov city at the city dairy, where I had been working for more than 20 years. My career has started as a sour-milk production? s machine operative; afterwards I worked as a shift foreman, instructor of industrial training, senior foreman, and shop superintendent. Without production break, I graduated from the Odessa Institute of Food Industry. Since 2005, I have been working at Public corporation “Zhytomir Dairy Factory” as a shop superintendent on whole-milk products and cheese production.
— Will You, please, tell us about Your departments? work during the 2007 period? How can You evaluate the work results?
— 2007 — was one of the hardest years for our department. In the beginning of the year, the volumes of the sour-milk production have drastically increased — the production quality has determined the significant role. But the double price increase on our production was a great test (I mean the sales volume? s decrease). Though the production output has indeed decreased, we managed to keep the department? s collective; as for the consumer, he understood that the quality and GMO-free production — is our trump card, due to it, our production is in demand.
— Valentyna Olexandrivna, what innovations were introduced the last year? What was changed? Improved?
— In the beginning of 2007, the department? s reconstruction was ended, as a result, the assembling of the department was totally changed — it gave a possibility to follow the engineering process. The aesthetic view of the department itself has significantly improved and, the most important, the work conditions of the machine operatives and operatives on automatic machines of milk filling and packaging have improved. On July 2007, the modernization of cooling-pasteurized plant was ended on the milk-reception area; it gave a possibility to conduct the milk pasteurization and separation directly to the department, consequently, it affected the positive stable production quality.
— The sour-milk production — is a production of everyday consumer. Purchasing it, the consumers pay the core attention to quality. Will You tell us the key difference of TM “Rud” from other producers?
— The sour-milk production is consumed by everyone — by children, adults, aged people… Our task is that person, who takes the package with the TM “Rud” label would be completely satisfied with its outer appearance, and his organism would take everything needed, everything that is placed in milk by the nature itself. That is why, we — as producers, can proudly say that the components of our sour-milk production include only: high quality milk, and, besides, — the symbiosis of lactic acid cultures, which correspond to every kind of sour-milk production. You will not find there any stabilizers, vegetable fats, and also preservatives. The expiration date proves that our production is a “living” one.
— How do You succeed to keep the stable quality of production?
— First of all, it includes a careful selection of sour-milk production? s raw materials from the laboratory? s side. The department makes constant control of washing quality from laboratory? s and foreman? s side, they control the keeping of all parameters of engineering process, and, besides, strictly follow all recommendations of department? s production engineer — Savarin O. M. — special attention is paid to ferments? selection depending on the season and raw material? s constitution.
— Valentyna Olexandrivna, will You tell us the hardest moments in Your work? How do You manage with coming difficulties?
— The hardest moment — is to keep on the stable high level the quality of the TM “Rud” production, because the raw materials that are delivered to us do not always follow their constitution; therefore, you need to change the technological parameters constantly during the production output. Every employee of the sour-milk department of our enterprise is “anxious” about the production quality at his work place, and during the engineering process gives part of his warmth. I can proudly say that the TM “Rud” production is done with warmth and love!
— Will You, please, tell us about Your main principles in work with subordinates?
— I have 30 subordinates — everyone has his own temper — if you may give order to one, you must find more tender approach to another one and then everything will be done, as it should be done — in other words, you must find individual approach to every person. In our collective, we should not have “weak” employees in any of the processes, and, therefore, I try to assign people so that the experience and qualification of more professional workers would be transferred to less experienced ones. Our collective is joined not only by work, but also by joint leisure. In our department, we do not forget to greet every person with his/her birthday and other important dates, we visit our colleagues, when they are ill, and we jointly celebrate professional and corporate holidays.
— In order to reach high results, coordination of the whole chain, which is involved in the product creation and production, is needed. How do You evaluate the interrelationship between the subdivisions?
— The output of high quality production depends not only on the correctly chosen operating practices, but also on the equipment, the process in carried out on. All services of the plant engineer, the plant power engineering specialist, commercial department, sales department and others, constantly support our department in case of need. The plant engineer, Nychay I. N., and the plant power engineering specialist, Bakun G. P., always effectively react on the conducting and innovations? application in our department.
— What about Your plans to the nearest future?
— Our major plans — are a constant and stable quality of all TM “Rud” sour-milk production, the sales volume? s increase, and also a rationale usage of fuel and energy, water and electricity resources on the enterprise. Besides, in the nearest time, the line of water gathering after tanks? cooling will be put into process for polyethylene containers? washing.

— On the threshold of spring, I would like to wish to everyone the strong health, confidence in the future, spring mood, personal happiness and lots-lots of love!
