The strategic goal of the “Rud” company — is to hold solely the leading positions on ice cream market, that is why the main task of 2009 became the correspondence confirmation with international standard ISO 22000:2005, which is based on “HACCP” principles and ISO 9001:2008.
From February 25 to February 26, 2009, external observational audit took place in many subdivisions of the “Rud” company, in order to prove the correspondence confirmation with international standards ISO 22000:2005 and ISO 9001:2008. The international standard ISO 22000:2005 sets requirements to the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) that grasps the whole production chain — from raw materials“ delivery and storage, production of final products at technological lines, their storing and up to the sales of products to the consumer, including food safety risk control during all stages of the given process. The safety of food products is a guarantee that the given product will not harm consumer's health at its appropriate use. The ISO 9001:2008 international standard sets requirements to the Quality Management System (QMS) to satisfy consumers” demands at constant production improvement.
During the final counsel the auditors have noticed that the Europeans, evaluating the food products“ quality, put the 100% guarantee of safety at the first place, instead of taste values. Such guarantee of ice cream safety was approved in section # 4 of ice cream production department (the head of the department — Konchakivska N.O.).
The auditors mentioned the high qualification and perfect work of the leaders of integrated management system process Zhygadlo L. M., Fedorenko L. V., Sukhovetskogo O. L., Mazurenko V. A., Yurkivskoyi L. Y., Ibleminovoyi O. P.; the heads of departments Konchakivska N.O., Khomenko V. V., managers of departments Bakuna G. P., Dydik F.G., Gavrylyuk T. V., and many others.
All recommendations, presented during the audit will be implemented in order to improve the integrated management system.
The control over 36 critical management points (microbiological analyses, washouts, terperature control, ingredients quantity control and so on) permits to claim that the ice cream produced at straight-line 800 is absolutely safe for consumers.
Basing on the results of observational audit, held at subdivisions of the “Rud” company, the certifying agency IQC “Pryrost” Co Ltd, accredited by the DQS German organization, is preparing documents to award PSC “Zhytomir Butter Plant” conformance certificate to the requirements with international standards ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 22000:2005 in March 2009. By the way, at present, we take the lead among the enterprises of the milk branch of Ukraine to get the Conformance Certificate on the new version of the international standard ISO 9001:2008.
The availability of the conformance Certificate to the requirements of international standard ISO 22000:2005 gives a number of additional advantages to the “Rud” company and allows guarantee the stable high quality of ice cream to consumers. It also opens additional possibilities for ice cream export to Europe and raises trust of foreign partners.
