Since 1993, according to the Decree of the President # 452/93, it has been celebrating the Day of Motorist and Roadman in Ukraine, rather than just the Driver’s Day. The professional holiday of motor transport and road economy workers is celebrated on the last week of October yearly. Each year the number of cars, buses, trolleybuses drastically increases. In Ukraine 22 percent of cargos and 88 percent of passengers are carried out by the motor transport. The road — is a symbol of progress.
