Children — are our future! There is a deep sense in this well-known phrase: taking care of young generation, we are taking care of our future. Care for children, their healthy and happy future are one of the primary courses in charitable activity of the “Rud” company.

From May 8 to May 11, Kyiv city center of social services for family and youth along with Kyiv subdivision of the National Scout organization of Ukraine had been organizing the XIX All-national “Kozatskiy Shlyah” hike-assembly of child and youth organizations and volunteer units under the slogan “Youth in action”. 700 leaders of child and youth social organizations, volunteer units, school and student youth groups from 20 regions of Ukraine became the assembly participants. The “Rud” company had supported this youth project and had been assisting during its holding.

Besides, on the eve of the International Child Protection Day, on June 30–31 in Kyiv the “Rud” company and other representatives of the Association of Ukrainian producers “Ice cream and frozen products” had conducted “Ice cream Festival” grand celebration. This year, the All-national ice cream festival had surprised by its scale. At the same time, celebration took place on the European Square and in Victory Park (Park Pobedy). On the charitable action opening were present Kateryna Yushchenko, a wife of the President of Ukraine, Igor Bartkovskiy, the president of the Association, and Petro Rud, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board and the President of the “Rud” company. Associating with one another, they came to a thought that charitable child projects are extremely essential for our future. Songs of child collectives, choirs, special amusing program, play ground and lots of ice cream had been arranging the holiday atmosphere.

Following the good tradition, the “Rud” company along with regional juvenile service had organized the real holiday for problem-family kids and orphans on the International Child Protection Day. Children had a chance to roll on merry-go-round until their hearts“ content in the Gagarin recreation city park and get yummy presents.

It is worth to note that PSC “Zhytomir Butter Plant” practices constant child support, such as, cinema attendance by Zhytomir schools“ students, ice cream celebration, where kids have fine rest, support of child and youth sport organizations. The ”Rud“ company takes special attention to young generation's health strengthening and education. This year, financial support received the following institutions:

• Child development center #68;
• “SKI-Ukraine” Karate-do Ukrainian association;
• Preschool educational institution #43;
• Zhytomir single-purpose general school-orphanage;
• Single-purpose educative complex #59 and other organizations.

This very day, on June 1, Ice cream celebration from the “Rud” company took place in Vinnitsya. Children enjoyed tasty ice cream, took part in contests, drawings, jumped on the trampoline. Therefore, the celebration had been carrying out in a amusing and joyous atmosphere.

The long-term song marathon of the child contest “The first note” has finally come to an end; TM “Rud” was its general sponsor and had been supporting all participants throughout the contest. 73 young singers took part in the creative contest. Traditionally, Zhytomir was the most active. For the first time, since “The first note” start, jury selected seven finalists in Zhytomir. Consequently, on June 7, 32 “first-noters” appeared on the stage of regional music and drama theater. The winner of the selection tour in Zhytomir became: Kateryna Khomyak (school #12), Valeria Matushkyna (classical school #23), Ganna Kultya (school #28), Darya Sokolovska (school #30), Victorya Shemchuk, Kateryna Sarabanovich and Victor Danyuk (V.Kosenko musical college). Winners and finalists of the project got wonderful presents from TM “Rud” in memory of their participation in song marathon.
