This year, the «Rud» company proposed partnership meeting to discuss season results, future plans in St. Petersburg – city-museum. The city was not chosen by chance, because such historical places have special energetic that inspires to future achievements and accomplishments, comprehension of past things done and built.

Tourist group had rather informative program that gave a chance to see the most notable sights of architecture and history and, at the same time, discuss branch problems, and compose strategy of further «Rud» product market promotion. Among outstanding places, which were visited, we must pay special attention to Petergof. Petergof, which started its history in 1709, captivates by its grandeur and dimensions. Spreading over the huge territory around Big Palace, this museum and park complex has no equals. Amazing fountains against a grand and fine palace’s background takes the breath away and fascinate the gaze. Combining various styles, Petergof is indeed a real embodiment of the best architectures’ skills of the past and one of the present world wonders.

Visit to the Peter and Paul Fortress, where Peter and Paul Cathedral is situated, became the most interesting part of the excursion. Cathedral’s height, along with a steeple where the sculpture of the flying angel is situated, combines 122.5 m, which makes the Cathedral the highest building in the historical part of the city. Besides, the Peter and Paul Cathedral is a place, where all Russian tsars were buried; this fact adds value to this place and cloaks in mystery. In general, Cathedral, which was built in 1703, has not lost its greatness even today.

The unique city site development with its parks, palaces, bridges was marked by all tourist group participants. Visit to the Yusupov Palace, which is legally considered the city «pearl», was a special desire of the guests. The palace ensemble had been forming for more than two dozens of years and it embodied all strength and wealth of one of the most powerful princely family of the past. As a place of Rasputin G. death, the Yusupov Palace still casts an atmosphere of court intrigues and splendid balls of the past over the visitors.

Ermitage sightseeing tour is a good tradition for St. Petersburg guests. You need to spend lots of time to watch over all masterpieces, get to know their history. As one of the greatest world museums of art, Ermitage exhibits more than three million of museum pieces. If Ermitage visitor pays at least one minute to every museum piece, he will need more than 8 years to watch the whole museum! But, you won’t tear yourself away from some Ermitage pictures. «Madonna Benua» and «Madonna Litta» , the works of renowned Leonardo da Vinci, capture by nontriviality and fine charm that were created by genius hand.

Right after Ermitage, the tourist group had a chance to visit «Traviata» opera in the Mikhailovsly Theater, where Johann Strauss conducted more than 100 years ago, Fedor Shalyapin sang, Sarah Bernhardt world-know troupe appeared on that stage.

Positive emotions, received after the culture theater atmosphere, opera artists’ singing, wonderful building architecture, where the theater is placed, made that evening unforgettable.
