There is no gift has been received by Ukrainian milkmen by Russian governmental officials on the occasion of New Year Eve and Christmas. It remains to look forward that by the end of January (in a year from embargo placing) Danquert will have announced the new list of Ukrainian producers having the right for dairy products export to Russia.

In the earlier 2007, as during last several months of the previous year, pricing situation within raw material market is still being rather attractive for sellers of thereof. In major part of regions allover the country the purchasing prices of milk for population are being started from 1.25 UAH per liter, while in some regions, agricultural producers are managed to sell the milk with price of near 1.8 UAH per liter. Traditionally, beginning from the second half of January, milk purchasing prices in Ukraine were in the process of receding. But this year, the deficiency of milk has been recognized as to be very severe, so as to provide rapid decreasing of the prices. The information from regions evidences the need for the further rise in prices in order to provide the required volumes of raw materials. Representatives of some key reprocessing enterprises suppose that never the less, by the end of January, the process of rising in prices fro milk is to be stopped. But, in spite of this, growth rates of milk yield are in many respects are to be conditioned by the weather conditions. In the event of sudden occurrence of intensely cold weather, the decline of purchasing prices probably will be delayed. This winter, the domestically bred cows have not got used to the frosts!
