— Olga Yuhimivna, an “Agropererobka” (“Agro-processing”) company has been cooperating with the “Rud” company for many years running, and is one of the most valuable partners. Will You, please, tell us the way everything started?

— In 1999, being invited by the “Han” firm (Germany), we introduced our product for milk products and ice cream enrichment on International seminar in Kahovka city of Kherson region. Representatives of German firm had highly evaluated our product. In the first place, we introduced this product to public corporation “Zhytomir Dairy Factory” of TM “Rud”, whose specialists have also highly evaluated the high quality. Since that time our cooperation is lasting for 9 years.

— We would like to know more about Your company. How it was established? When? Whose idea was it to create such specialized establishment?

— The high-technology enterprise (HTE) “Agropererobka” Co Ltd was established on March 30, 1995. In 1997, we have bought out uncompleted construction project, and that very year dairy factory was placed into operation. When we have received foreign fruit filling materials for yoghurt production, I said: “We will make it by ourselves!” In 1998, we have purchased equipment for fruit-berry filling materials’ production in West Germany.

— Olga Yuhimivna, how many workers do You have at Your establishment? What are Your guiding factors for staff recruitment?

— At present, 200 people are working at out establishment; among them is a strong staff of skilled workers, who are constantly working over the technologies’ perfection in the sphere of development of new kinds of production. For this very purpose was created an experimental laboratory, where employees gain experience, get to know new technologies, work through new kinds and improve their knowledge in this branch.

— Do You have problems with staff? If so, how do You solve such questions?

— Many problems arise from the fact that we employ youth, train them, yet we can not provide career growth for everyone. We would like to pay them the worth salary.

— What are the key manufacturing products of “Agropereroka” company?

— We produce almost 500 kinds of fruit-berry filling materials, and more than 25 kinds of milk production. We also produce toppings, which are intended for decoration and enrichment of useful properties of soft ice cream, confectionery, milkstakes and cocktails. They keep pattern, applied over a product, and accentuate its inimitable taste. In 2007, we have opened a season by production of new type of product — syrups in glass bottles. It is a multipurpose modifier for preparation of strong drinks and soft cocktails, beverages, lemonades, milk cocktails, coffee.

— We suppose that the “Agropererobka” company have made great services in the success of the TV “Rud” production, which is the best in Ukraine for a number of years, because Your production has high quality and taste. How are You able to keep the stable quality, making Your production?

— The core principles of our firm are an individual approach to every enterprise. Close cooperation with production engineers, managers, marketing experts. Every enterprise-specifier has different equipment. We spend lots of time in traveling, working through and realizing demands of every customer. We use raw material of the highest quality, natural ingredients and, surely, responsible human attitude to work, so that the production of TM “Shchedrik” could have a stable quality, physicochemical indices and correspond to high level of production. The production quality control in held in accredited laboratory, every kind of product is tasted with new lot’s turn out. I do like the ice cream of “Rud” firm and is proud of our product, which, on the last exhibition “The World of Ice Cream and Cold” in Kyiv, won 4 medals. But the key factor is the cooperation of our collectives. I enjoy keeping an eye on the conversation between main production engineers Olga Pavlivna and Oksana Georgyivna, heads of departments Pavlo and Volodymir; they have mutual understanding, simple approach, pieces of advice, and adequate reaction on problems. Because, you must please an ice cream customer and each region has its own taste expectation.

— Olga Yuhimivna, surely, as in every production branch, You have a competition. How do You act toward competition? Is it a positive moment in business from Your point of view?

— We have never been afraid of competition because it is the core engine of progress. In the conditions of strong market competition we cannot relax. We took training seminars on filling materials’ production in order to supply Ukraine and all our foreign partners with such product as fruit-berry filling material; that is why I think our competitors are our partners. I am “for” ‘sound’ competition.

— What can You tell about contemporary tendencies on ice cream market in Ukraine?

— Children, adults and aged people — all of them like ice cream. Surely, we wish to produce more ice cream with native filling materials. I think that family ice cream has a future.

— Olga Yuhimivna, what are Your nearest plans for the future?

— This year we are planning to complete the reconstruction of department, open a new housing for aseptic bottling. “The one, who stops in development — loses”, — and time is on our side. Our production is known to consumers in Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Byelorussia, and Egypt. Numerous awards from exhibitions, medals and insignia from contests in Kyiv, Moscow, Odessa, Dnipropetrovsk and other cities prove our quality. The goal of production under the trade mark “Shchedrik” — is the keeping of the best traditions of Ukrainian producer.

— And, finally, what would You like to wish to everyone?

— I wish that the ice cream #1 of “Rud” trade mark could keep the palm of leadership for a long time, and that we all could be together.
