The changes in management orientation have originated the development of new conception of material resources’ management, and have got a name of “logistics”. The main point of conception is an integration of all functional spheres that are related to material flow from producer to consumer in a single complex that is called logistics complex.

The contemporary methods of increase of material flows management’s effectiveness have practical interest to Ukrainian economy; its usage will give a chance to the enterprises of our country to act effectively at domestic, as well as at foreign markets.

The experience of developed countries in the sphere of material production effectiveness’ increase prove that one of the key instruments of strengthening market positions is the usage of logistics conception in organization of economic activity of an enterprise. In contemporary understanding, logistics grasps production particularly and the sphere of planning and management of the whole enterprise’s activity in the chain of “supplier — producer — consumer”.

Logistics proclaims the priorities of the consumer which means a 100-percent fulfillment of all contractual obligations and high level of service. This way, the using of the ‘just in time’ system at “Ford” enterprises gave a possibility to cut resources by 40 percent in two years. According to the data of Prof. Smekhov A., the realization of the key logistics positions gives a possibility to cut down the transportation and production storage expenses by 15—20 percent, reduce the resource level by 50 percent, decrease the work cycle duration by 50—70 percent.

Surely, logistics system implementation requires time and corresponding conditions of its construction, when system will be regarded as an effective and reliable one. Yet, it is worthy of it — all national trade marks are a great example of that, and TM “Rud”, among them, proves the necessity of constant perfection of present logistics system. It is a bond to reach the goals set not only for such business-process as logistics, but also for the whole company.
